So I have an East man MD 615. I’ve upgraded the tuners and the tale peas, the two pieces that I think are really not very good on the easement. I’m thinking I’m ready for an upgrade to a better mandolin and I’m wondering would anybody recommend upgrading to a 100 year old Gibson mandolin?

Very reliable, highly rated shop.

Oh absolutely. My question was, is it worth taking a look at?

It wouldn't be for me; I buy new, not into taking care of antiques.

And... as always... make sure it's a legitimate Gibson (not a copy with an inlayed 'Gibson' or 'The Gibson' logo on the peghead)
