Trying to decide between a Loar Honey Creek 110 (A Style) , the Recording King A Style or go cheaper with a Hola?   Any advice? Any comments?

Sarcasm? Constructive? :)

You get what you pay for.
Spend as much as you can realistically afford. Your instrument will sound better and play easier. That will make you want to play and practice. Instruments that sound crummy and are hard to play increase the likelihood that you will not play, get frustrated, and give up. Spend the money; in the long run, it is one of the cheapest forms of entertainment you can find. Have fun!

Can not think of better advice.   Thanks...

I've tried the Recording King, but not the Loar. That RK was a solid entry level mandolin, probably due largely to a good set up. Either one is better than the Hola, IMHO.

Still, Yooper is right, if you can afford more, you should...

I can't speak for the LM110, but I can speak of my primary Mandolin, a LM700, the tone is superior to the F9 and
the KM 1000 that I sold off after choosing The Loar LM700.

For a certain sum, you can own my "Loar".
