I know this has been discussed before on the MHO, but I need to thank Rob Meldrum for sharing his mandolin setup guide.
I recently acquired an inexpensive mandolin, and decided immediately to make it a set up project. Until now, I had done no single setup that was quite this involved. The finished product has made me think twice about not keeping this mandolin long term.

The only tool I had to buy (again) was a set of feeler gauges. Not sure what happened to my original set...
