New with an A model

From Kristibob on 10/17/2012 9:47:17 PM

Hello, all:)

I'm new here and have had my A-model for 4 months..and an F model for a week or ten days..or so.  I love my A-model...she was inexpensive, but sounds wonderful, so I thought I'd join here and get to know some of you.

Hi and welcome! So do you like the sound of your A model better then the F? What kind are they.

I have an A model that I learned a few songs on from Murphy Method but have been more focussed on banjo as of late.

Happy picking....:)

I don't like the sound of the A better than the F..I love the two equally..the A model tone is a bit "rounder"...but can still bite if you want it to. I'm not experienced enough to play either instrument up to its utmost capabilities, but exploring the differences and similarities is sure fun!
