I've played mandolin with other acoustic musicians in a variety of styles...old-time, bluegrass, folk, country, pop, celtic... It's all great fun

That is a beautiful looking A style mandolin in the pic.

I've been playing mondo for a number of years... everything from Oldtime fiddle, jazz, Celtic, Bluegrass, just about any style and have always used an A model. My most recent addition to "Thr Fold" is a Collings A oval hole "Black Face." Bertha can hold her own in any music setting.

Hi Calmando, sorry that I've sort of abandoned the group! The mando in the pic is a custom made Flatbush. Do I need to say that I love it??
