Hello,

We are working on compiling a database of known Instruments made by Chas. B. Rauch and the Dayton String Instrument Company. Our goal is to analyze the evolution of the company's production. If you have anything you would like to share, please contact me. You will be credited (if desired) on the list.

What we need from you:

Details of the instrument- at a minimum the type of the instrument and serial number.

We would also like to know if the label says Chas. B. Rauch or the Dayton String Instrument Company.

Any other details you wish to share would be wonderful! You can either post here or contact us via private message.

	TwoTrax says: 2/4/2011 2:31:50 PM We're also interested in any other instruments that may still be out there that may have been repaired by Chas B Rauch. So far we have only seen reference to a repair tag inside of an instrument (violin made in the 1860's) that says it was repaired by Chas B Rauch sometime about 1931. So we do know that he also made musical instrument repairs as well as his many other pursuits. So if you have or know of instruments he may have repaired, we'd love to include those also. Thanks.
