Retired US Marine. Went to OCS in 1977-78, and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in 1979, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel of Marines in 2003. I still work for the Marines on Okinawa. I am primarily a banjo player, active on the Banjo Hangout, but have a deep love for the mandolin and have tried for the last few years to learn this great instrument.

I tried a bit many years ago, but my little hands just couldn't do what they needed to do..but they are perfect for the little mandolin. Take care, and hope to hear from you again.
