Put down a deposit to hold an A2; had one years ago & loved it, & now I'm ready for that tubby sound love again. Soon as I come up with the buying money....

Faded serial number looks like maybe it's a 1920 instead.

I've been a Gibson Mandolin owner and player for the last 30 years and I have a collection of old Gibsons mandolins.
This is what I have so far :
A1 c 1918 - I'm restoring this mando at the moment, the serial number is un-readable
A 1915 - Blond
A c1920 - I'm restoring this mando at present
A4 1921 - Blackface
H1 1915 mandola - Blond
K2 1917 mandocello - Red sunburst
