Tired of striking out at jams? Too fast, unfamiliar tunes, difficult keys? You are not alone! The Bluegrass Club is designed to teach slowly and specifically how to play selected tunes in a band setting. Two meetings a month for 3 months, each meeting building on the previous meeting so you'll know "inside out" how to play 5 or 6 tunes at the end of those three months. When to play, what to play, how to backup, how to take a break, how to organize a tune for presentation. The goal is to have you on stage (literally) at the end of three months. Held at a newly opened (and very nice) venue called "@4410" in Haymarket, VA. Stage, lights, great sound system and you at open mic night picking with a Club band. Specifically assigned tunes at each meeting for you to practice and come back ready to play and hone to performance level. BUT, tailored to your level of play.
