Hi Mando-Hangout members.

I'm so pleased to be a part of this hangout even though I don't yet own a mandolin! I've been playing banjo for a while and am a member of Banjo-Hangout. The mandolin has always appealed to me and now I want one. As a newbie, my question is, is maple or mahogny with a spruce wood top the right one to choose?
