I have been playing for about a year and a half. Love my mando! I especially love Bluegrass, but enjoy Irish tunes, Old Time tunes, and most anything else. I LOVE jamming - even though I'm not very good at it yet. Fortunately there are plenty of people in the San Diego area who are patient with us newer jammers!
