Don Huber (Whyteman on Banjo Hangout) plays an 1890 French fiddle as I play my 1913 Gibson mandocello. The mandocello is used for bass line and back-up chords. Song History: First known printed version of tune was 1810 and it became popular among American troops during the War of 1812. The North and the South used the tune during the Civil War.
