I've had it for a few years and now it's playable. All it needed was a bridge adjustment which I did myself-and here it was just in hibernation in the case as I felt it needed a luthier. Silly me! Working on opening it up.......

	TeachinMandolin444 says: 9/23/2013 8:23:37 AM It's an A model mando,a JBP brand. Wish I'd just looked it over a lot sooner. I play Old TIme and have a love of 20's tunes,Gypsy Jazz,Celtic, & Medieval/Ren period music. Occasionally I dip into Baroque tunes.
	mandogal says: 1/25/2014 9:53:02 PM Something similar happened to me. I had an old mando, A style, oval hole (see my picture). It was just sitting in the basement. I did take it to a luthier; the back was coming off, etc. He fixed and and now it has a lovely sound.

	mandogal says: 1/26/2014 11:59:09 AM It's an American Conservatory, which I believe to be the "poor relative" of the Washburn (made by Lyon and Healy). I think it probably was a student model made in the late 1920's. It's solid wood and has a slightly shorter fret board. It has a very nice sound. A couple of guys with larger hands have tried playing it and don't care for it, but it works well for my female friends that have played it.
