Hi everyone.... yes i am a newbie on the mando, i used to play guitar but after having an operation on my left hand i can't grip a wide neck ( no not to wife's ) so i am self teaching on the mando and loving it. problem is i play it like an italian playing oh sole mio how do i stop it

ok, so I used to play guitar until I had an op on my right hand carple tunnels so now I can't grip the neck on a guitar ( too wide ) so i' learning the mandolin and loving it.
